The AHPI NeuroZone™ for the Student program is a special program for students of all ages. Cognition is crucial for learning and retention. ADD and ADHD are national epidemics that describe multiple learning factors with multiple behavioral factors the make up the diagnosis of ADD or ADHD. The popular show “The Doctors” did a segment on a child that had been misprescribed a medication for his form of ADD. What this show touched very carefully on was that there are MULTIPLE forms of ADD/ADHD.
NeuroZone NFB™ for the Student uses Neurofeedback protocols that have been very highly reviewed and praised as promising alternatives for the future of ADD/ADHD training in the mainstream. They address the multiple forms of brain imbalances that contribute to the many subtypes of ADD/ADHD. Through direct brain training, we can improve in the imbalances that contribute to ADD/ADHD by “retraining” the brain to use only the pro-attention brainwaves and ignore the ADD/ADHD producing ones. Over time the brain is trained to focus and filter. We teach the brain how to choose to control what we focus on and also teach it how filter out the things that interfere with that focus.
