One daughter and one son, then 16 and 10, have benefitted from AHPI's Neurofeedback training over the last 2 years. After trying ADHD and anti-depressant meds, organizational coaching, herbs, and supplements, we happened upon AHPI. It worked. Our anxious, depressed, ADD teenager began hugging us again, and noticing when the trash can was full. Our 10-year old son, on his third school in one year, finished out second semester with straight A's, a new BFF, and greatly improved self-esteem. Their worlds have begun to open up again. And while the other therapies mentioned above were certainly part of the puzzle, Neurofeedback was the one therapy we could point to and say, "Look at the difference this made..." We are grateful to AHPI, and the work that Adrian and Katarina are doing.
Ever since I first started neurozone neurofeedback, my brain has not only felt healthier and more controllable in ways I never thought imaginable. But has also precipitated a perpetual motion in my life that has made me move forward instead of backpedalling into the same old thoughts and routines I kept finding myself in. It's a true mental espionage delving into our brains making me more aware of the secrets and true meaning of my thoughts and provocations. It created a better understanding of why I do the things I do and how my brain works in a more deeper way I didn't think was imaginable or possible until I met Katerina and Adrian. I can't thank you enough!
Last year when I was searching the Internet for any help with my son 13 years old having ADHD. I would say he has a severe case of ADHD that is affecting; focus, memory, social behavior, and of course his schooling and his understanding of feelings. When learning about this field and how it can help with ADHD, I discussed the issue with his doctor at numerous children hospital where he encouraged me to go to AHPI and his exact words where ‘I would definitely go to AHPI’. I did not waste time and asked to meet Adrian in the clinic and started by making a brain map to define the plane of the neurofeedback sessions. In few days we were starting with the sessions twice a week and after 10 sessions I started to notice his memory is getting better, his focusing is better. After 20 sessions he was noticeably better in memory, focus, and his school work and specialty in math which was the first to be noticed since his grades came up from C to A his tests from 6,7 to 10. He continued to get better slowly through the .40th session. Then I made a big mistake, I convinced his doctor to start decreasing his medication which is responsible for his bad mood, bad behavior and laziness. This mistake lead me to take more sessions.. I want to say that we went down in his medication from 60 mg to 20 mg for a medicine that needs 90 days to be in a steady state. The reason I wanted to wait to write my feedback is I wanted to see if the good things will last after we stop the sessions say by 4 month and through his following year, and it did by say 80%In addition to the above improvement, I also would like to point out the friendly and experienced Adrian and his staff where. They really helped us through this journey.Lastly I want to say that we will be starting another 20 sessions soon, but this time without alternating his medication and keeping it at his old 60mgMy name is Botros MikhailTel: 407 460 email@example.comContact me if u have any questions, I would like to help to make it easier for the parents. I feel that these sessions and AHPI were God’s sentGod bless u all
Our daughter Sadie began Neurofeedback after exhausting ourselves trying to help her through her diagnosed anxiety disorder, extreme shyness and lack of focus in school. We weren't ready to throw in the towel and put her on medication at only 7 years old. From the moment we met Adrian we felt we had finally found someone that could help our daughter. Within a few weeks of treatment we saw changes in Sadie. And after almost 8 months of treatment we had a new child. She spoke to us about her worries more, she was more open with her teachers, friends, and doctors. Her grades greatly improved. Also, her motivation to participate in extracurricular activities blossomed. The day she showed Adrian her report card with straight As was a joyous celebration for everyone in the office. Her focus and less worried lifestyle allowed her to train and go on to run and win first place in three 5K events at 7 years old. At times she was competing with kids as old as 13. She never seemed worried, just confident that she could win. Just recently she became the student council representative for her class by standing up in front of her peers and making a speech. Something she would have never done before. We whole heartily believe that all of these improvements and accomplishments wouldn't have happened without Adrian's professional Neurofeedback expertise and guidance. For that we are ever grateful!
Receivng treatment from Adrian has been a blessing for Daniel. Within a few weeks of treatment, Daniel began to express himself in a more detailed and profound way. It was wonderful to see how this awakening was allowing everyone to see even more of Daniel's personality and abilities. He began to complete school assignments quicker and there was an improvement on standardized testing, which had always been challenging for him. Daniel says he feels an awareness, confidence and ability to think quickly. He is looking forward to college! We thank God for this treatment. Thanks so much to Adrian and the team!
I brought my daughter to Adrian and Katerina after researching how good Neurofeedback can be for attention and neurological problems. They helped her a lot and results come eventually if you are constant with the sessions. The team was always amazing to her and we felt at home.
The last couple years have been really rough with my son, Jei. His behavior at school for the last two years had been getting worse. We had been to specialist after specialist to try to figure out what was going on with him. He lacked focus and attention at school and he really had a hard time remaining calm. He behaved aggressively and with extreme anger - like his brain was on fire. Things really came to a head this year in the third grade when other children are now able to regulate their emotions, and Jei clearly was not. A few times a week, he would fall on the floor - thrashing, screaming and crying. His anger would lead him to do things like throw his desk across the clasroom. At one point, he lost his temper with another child in his class on the playground, pushed him up against a tree and threw mulch in his face. When we sta down to talk about it, Jei said he tried to breathe, tried to calm himself, but just couldn't control himself and didn't know what to do. He cried and told me, "I don't mean to be bad, but something takes over me and I can't control it." It broke my heart. He was on probation and risked being kicked out of an amazing private arts school that we worked hard to get him into. We had tried supplementation, diet and even ADD meds. Nothing worked very well. Until Jei's pediatrician directed us to Adrian.
About a month in to his neurofeedback, I could see that the "edge" was beginning to taper off for Jei. He could remember to breathe to calm himself if he was getting out of control. Two months in, and he was a different child. His teacher reached out - as well as the principal and therapist at school - to say what a difference Jei has made and what a pleasure he was to have in her class. Most days were bad days prior to neurofeedback with Adrian. Now, a bad day is rare. I get two thumbs up and "Jei had an excellent day" from the teacher when I pick him up from school. More than anything, Jei is a happier and calmer kid and no longer experiences the regular shame around not being able to self regulate. He can regulate his emotions and express them in healthy ways now...a few months ago that didn't even seem possible. The transformation almost seems miraculous and I am so grateful to Adrian and his amazing team for guiding Jei and our family through a really tough time.
Before Neurozone Neurofeedback, I was using less then 10% off my brain's power. I was emotional, always very tired, and had very little drive to do much in my life. I always thought to myself, I guess this is just who I am. I tried diet changes, exercise regiments, and countles therapies. Nothing seemed to be working. I felt lost and alone, like every time I looked in the mirror I barely recognized myself. When I heard of Adrian and the work he had been doing for years, and the tremendous success he was having with people just like me. I had to know more. The insite I gained from my first Brain map alone. Changed my life. With their help I feel like more of myself. Like for the first time I have the energy and drive to take control of my life. I regularly go back now not just to visit the amazing staff and thank them for all they've done for me and my family. But I continue various treatment protocalls to continuously improve my life for the better. This isn't so much a review as it is a thank you for all AHPInstitute has done for my relationships my health and most importantly my life. Thank you all for the great work you do. I don't know where I would be without you.
We feel very fortunate to have found AHPI during a very difficult time in our son's life. Adrian is extremely knowledgeable and professional while at the same time very caring and compassionate. We were searching for a place that would not only provide the neurofeedback treatment he needed but also give our son hope for better days. He gained confidence and improved mental outlook during his several months of treatment which was very important for allowing the healing process to begin. We are grateful to Adrian for his care and compassion for our son's well-being during a really tough time in his life.
